Bayswater Primary School runs a supportive Buddy Program which helps to make the transition to Primary School a positive experience for your child.

Your child will meet their Grade 5 buddy during a Transition session in Term 4. Kinder buddies are also paired with Grade 4 students from some local kinders to commence invaluable relationship building.

The Prep students see their Buddies once a week for a group activity in the classroom, outside in the yard, and in multi-age activities. Your Prep child will have at least two years to build special relationships with their buddy, easing the transitions across the school and enhancing social interactions across grade levels.
