Community Partnerships

Bayswater Primary School is proud to have strong community partnerships. 

By partnering with community organisations, we have the ability to plan and develop programs that assist young people across the community.

This also helps foster greater integration between schools and communities creating better outcomes for children, young people and their families.

Some of our community partnerships include:


Appleby Real E

Appleby Real Estate run a pancake breakfast at Bayswater Primary School each month and support the school in other ways. Thanks Appleby!


Breakthrough Church

Breakthrough Church Volunteers run our School Brekky Club on a Tuesday and Friday morning in the hall from 8.15-8.50am. We are very grateful for the dedication of the Breakthrough team, for their care, conversations, and delicious cheese toasties.


Burke and Beyond

A dedicated volunteer team from Burke and Beyond work in the Bayswater Community Garden every Wednesday. The Burke and Beyond team also care for our school chickens. We are very grateful for the contribution Burke and Beyond make to our school.


Foodbank Victoria

Foodbank Victoria provides food for our School Breakfast Program, fruit for our classrooms, and emergency lunch packs.


Glen Park Community Centre

Bayswater Primary School are proud to partner with Glen Park Community Centre.



Kids Hope / Bayswater Uniting Church

We are thankful for the five Kids Hope mentors from Bayswater Uniting Church who spend an hour each week with the student they have been matched with. Some of our mentors have been part of Kids Hope for over ten years and we are very grateful for the contribution and enormous support they have offered students and families in our school community.


Rotary - Bayswater and Knox

We appreciate the continued partnership with Bayswater and Knox Rotary, especially for supporting our Grade 6 Graduation Ceremony.


RSL - Bayswater

We are thankful for the partnership with Bayswater RSL, in particular for the recent support completing our school long jump pit (initially constructed by Interchange Outer East). We appreciate the opportunity to participate in the Remembrance Service each year as well as the opportunity to offer students'  funded places on summer camps.


Woolworths Bayswater

Woolworths Bayswater provides fruit every week to our school to distribute to our students in the classrooms and in the yard.



School Focused Youth Services / Knox City Council

Bayswater Primary School are appreciative of the support of SFYS (School Focused Youth Services) at Knox City Council. In 2020, SFYS has provided funding for selected students to participate in the MAT program ( as well as funding for the Engage program, where a small group of students are working on meaningful projects in the community garden and school grounds. SFYS support projects and programs that specifically aim to Increase student connection and engagement at school.
