Week 3            Collaborative Projects and Email

The Talkback Classroom In this activity you are forwarding on researched questions through the Internet to a group of students who will be interviewing a prominent Australian on ABC radio.

 

The Environmental Mystery Competition This activity uses a previous Environmental Mystery Competition concerned with the disappearance of a platypus. Each group is to read the first two parts of the Environmental Mystery Competition, then brainstorm and record as many reasons why the platypus may have disappeared.

 

Interactive Mathematical Resource for Busy Teachers In this activity, groups are to solve a maths problem and enter their answers. After solving the problem, discuss how you may involve students in the coordination of this project.

 

The Teddy Bear Project In this activity, each group is to consider the scenario of exchanging a teddy bear with a school in the Eastern European country, Latvia.

 

Questionnaire Groups discuss and record their comments to statements and questions.

To attach a file to you message

  • Click on the Insert fil button (paper clip)

  • Locate and click on the file you want to attach

  • Click on OK or double click the file name.

Using the Global Address List

  • Click the Addrsss Book button on the message toolbar or click on the "TO" btton to the left of ot he Message toolbar.

  • Display the Global Adress list at the top right.

  • Start to type the last name of the recipient

  • When located double click or use the "TO" arrow to transfer the recipient into the Message Recipient box.
