1 1/2 cups of flour

 

1 1/ 4 cups (375ml) of milk

 

1 egg

Chocolate Ice Magic

  1kg plain flour- $1.86 we used 1 1/2 cups 55c

1 litre milk- $1.55, we used (375ml)58c

half a dozen eggs- $2.99 we used 1 egg 25c

Chocolate Ice Magic- $ 3.31 we used about $1.00 worth

ice cream 2 litres  (Home brand) $3.22 we used about 80c worth

total cost $3.18

First you put the flour in the bowl and then you put some of the milk in. After that you put two eggs in the bowl and mix until it's soggy enough to go on the pan.  Then turn the pan on and put some mixture in then keep on turning the pancakes until they are brown. Then take the pancakes out and put a blob of ice-cream on top of each pancake. After that, drizzle some chocolate ice magic on top and there you have it, your very own Chocolate Sun ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!

What did you learn about maths and what principle did you  investigate? 

 

 

We did have trouble adding the amounts to make the pancakes work, we had to make it  thicker by adding more flour. We measured flour and milk with a measuring cup it was a half a litre measuring cup.

What did you learn about maths and what principle did you  investigate? 

 We were experimenting with  the chocolate topping called  Ice Magic. It was a liquid when you put it on ice cream for a while and it sets hard.

Our  pancake mixture was liquid then when we cooked it then it became a solid.

What did we learn about computer technology, group work, working online with partner

1.We thought the mixture was going to spill, but it didn't.

2.We thought extra flour wasn't going to make it work and it did.

3.We thought it wasn't going to be thick enough until we added extra flour.

4.Some of the cooking part was funny.

 

WE HAD FUN COOKING!!!

 

1.We couldn't hear properly because of the background noise.

We were talking online for 25 mins.

 

Our video conferencing friends are  Oliver, Kate, Linzey and Alia they are cooking mini pizzas.

 

2. The Video Conferencing went well but we had to use messages

because we weren't allowed to talk and it was getting noisy .in our class.
