COOKING WITH MATHS

We did fractions -  for example we cut the two chicken fillets in four quarters.

COOKING WITH SCIENCE

What did you learn about Maths and what principle did you  investigate?

We discovered what happened to chicken when we applied heat. All the germs were killed. Raw + Heat = Cooked.

THINKING CURRICULUM

What did our group find out about the Thinking Curriculum especially Habits of Mind?

ONLINE TEAM WORK

What did we learn about computer technology, group work, working online with partner

Finding humour- we enjoyed the activity and as you can see from the photos we had fun. We also managed to work as a team and learnt to listen to each others ideas, without criticising.

We learnt what Ocean Grove was cooking and how it matched what we were cooking. We also shared our recipe with them by sharing programs and letting them add suggestions to our write up. They liked our pictures and we had fun.
