500g Blade Steak

 1 Tin Water Chestnuts 190g

Dried Mushrooms 1/4 cup

Snow Peas 110g

Red Capsicum 140g

Zucchini 145g

Bok Choy 2 Bunches

Onion 15g

1 Tin Baby Corn 425g

2 Cloves Garlic Almonds 30g Cashews 30g 40mls each of Black Bean Sauce, Oyster Sauce, Sweet Chilli Sauce & Soy Sauce

 

 

 

  Chow Mein Noodles 350g=$2.88

500g Blade Steak=$8.30

Dried Mushrooms 1/4 cup=45c

Snow Peas 110g=90c

  1. Wash hands and all fresh vegetables  thoroughly.

  2. Soak mushrooms in hot water for 1/2 hour.

  3. With a sharp knife dice onion and finely chop garlic. (Set aside)

  4. Cut beef into thin strips place into a bowl and add all the sauces to marinade for at least 1/2hr.

  5. Cut capsicum in to julienne strips. Slice the zucchini. Chop the Bok Choy. String snow peas and slice in half. Cut nuts in 1/2.

  6. Saute onion and garlic in wok until transparent.

  7. Add marinated meat stir fry on high until browned.

  8. Drain mushrooms and chop.

  9. Remove meat and add remaining vegetables.

  10. While vegetables are cooking soak noodles in hot water and cover 2-3 minutes.

  11. Add meat and drained noodles to the wok.

  12. Continue stir frying until well combined and heated through.

  13. Serve into large bowls.

  14. Enjoy!!!

We were able to interact with the teachers in the other room using the video conference connection between the two home eco centres.  They created choc delicious brownies so our work complimented each other perfectly.

The connection was fine and we had very little problem inserting digital photos and sharing information.
