Term One 2004

DESIGN BRIEF

You and your team are excited and nervous because this week you will be preparing a special recipe for important people.  Four food critics (who also happen to be mathematicians and scientists in their spare time!) will be enjoying a recipe at your restaurant and will also go to your online partners’ restaurant that day for another course, which must work perfectly with your recipe.  If the critics are pleased it will mean that your teams will become famous online chefs!

Your main goal is to make certain that your recipe is a perfect accompaniment to the recipe of your online partners, so you will need to use the videoconference link and email between the two restaurants to communicate your ideas during the week.  The critics are also fussy and expect that every recipe on the menu be different to the other recipes on the Kids Cooking with Calculations and Chemistry website.

Your team is to be made up of at least four chefs who have different learning styles/modalities with each chef having some additional responsibilities set out in the Role Descriptions below.  You will need to consult the weekly timetable for what needs to be completed at what time.  Use this time wisely and good luck!

The Food Critics will expect that your recipe:
