COOKING WITH MATHS

What did you learn about maths and what principle did you  investigate?

Our math was to double our filling in our apple pie we were only meant to put

2 apples and 1 tablespoon of sugar but we put in 4 apples and 2 tablespoons of sugar

COOKING WITH SCIENCE

What did you learn about maths and what principle did you  investigate?

All the ingredients were solids then when we added the water and it turned into a liquid when we mixed it with our fingers it became a solid.

THINKING CURRICULUM

What did our group find out about the Thinking Curriculum especially Habits of Mind?

ONLINE TEAM WORK

What did we learn about computer technology, group work, working online with partner

We were persisting because we wanted it to work.

We all listened to each other and took it in turns at sharing.

We all made sure we put all the right measurements and tried to not make a big mess.

We asked each other to help us if we got stuck.

We all responded with excitement when the apple pie was ready.

At some parts were really funny.

We told the people from Ocean Grove that we made Apple Pie and they made Spaghetti Bolognese we were talking for about fifty minutes. They liked making Spaghetti Bolognese.

It was kind of hard to work on line because we had problems with the sound. The picture was also a little bit blurry, but then it was fun. It was not hard working with people we didn't know. Next time we would like longer to chat and more chances to talk to each other.
