The Grade 5/6 camp was at
Wilson's Promontory, from February 25th - 29th 2008.
The
Year 5/6 Camp at Wilson’s Prom was certainly a memorable event. The
students and teachers had a fantastic time surfing, hiking, ponding and
of course performing in Tidal Idol. Here are some of the students
thoughts!
- “I thought the surfing was great. The funniest thing
was when Travis, Jaimey, Charnnie and I collided into each other. I
think that surfing was the best that happened on camp.” - Rebecca C.
- “The
sights were amazing! It looked like the scene of Narnia! We also saw
little rat-like creatures.” - Anson Y. on Lily Pilly Gully
- “When we got to Squeaky Beach
everyone ran in the water and the boys all body surfed! We made deep
holes and played with a mini football.
We also made sand castles and sand mermaids.
Blake’s school hat got washed away to Tasmania and Rhys’ expensive
black hat got washed away in the huge waves!
